Become a Greenhouse Gardener with the Land and Resource Department for seasonal work from May to October. This hands-on position focuses on crop cultivation and greenhouse management while requiring teamwork and physical endurance. In this role, you'll perform a variety of tasks essential for the gardening process, from planting and harvest to maintaining greenhouse efficiency. Your ability to manage farm machinery and assist in growing vegetables will be critical. The job requires physical strength due to lifting and repeated bending, with weekend work expected. Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and harvest crops including beans and onions
Operate generators and other farm equipment
Grow and maintain out-of-season vegetables in the greenhouse
Design flowerbeds and assist in their upkeep
Aim for continuous improvement in operations and productivity Requirements:
Experience in plant care and maintenance practices
First Aid/CPR and Food Secure certifications required
Capability to lift at least 50 pounds
Availability to work weekends as required
