Drive social impact as a full time Specialist in Communications and Community Outreach with CNIB in Calgary, Alberta. Champion accessibility initiatives and create inclusive communications strategies that support diverse communities. As a passionate member of the CNIB team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing regional communications plans tailored to participant needs. This role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and focuses on marketing, educational outreach, and multimedia storytelling to promote creative programs. Your impact will be felt as you liaise directly with those who are blind, partially sighted, or Deafblind. Key Responsibilities:
Develop regional communication plans for participant success
Implement Indigenous outreach strategies for Treaty areas
Produce accessible multimedia stories for diverse platforms
Manage proactive and reactive Earned Media initiatives
Liaise with clients to ensure effective program delivery Requirements:
Post-secondary education in communications or similar field
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant work experience
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in social media and multimedia tools
