Step into a fulfilling role at the YMCA of Greater Toronto as a Lifesaving Instructor and Examiner, guiding participants in lifesaving skills. Located at the Steve & Sally Stavro Family YMCA in Toronto, this position will engage you in teaching and examining aquatic courses. With the necessary certifications, you’ll develop lesson plans and respond to emergencies, while coaching participants to excel in their learning. Your interpersonal skills will be key in building rapport and encouraging community involvement. Key Responsibilities:
Instruct lifesaving courses while ensuring safety compliance
Evaluate participants according to established criteria




Create engaging lesson plans tailored to various learning styles
Mentor participants for successful outcomes

Current certifications in Lifesaving Society awards required
Previous lifesaving instruction experience preferred
