You will work closely with the Housing Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and implement housing maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include evaluating maintenance requests, conducting repairs, and assisting elders, all aimed at enhancing community living conditions. Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience or a solid willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and resolve housing maintenance issues
• Repair damages and maintain residential units
• Conduct morning safety meetings and manage supplies
• Assist with the oversight of summer student workers
• Maintain vehicles and tools in working order
Requirements:
• Experience in housing maintenance or related tasks
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Grade 10 education or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean record
• Willingness to obtain required safety certifications
