Role Description

Fast Fashion Designer at PLAN B is a full-time we are looking for is hybrid oppurtunity , both on-site & remote role based in Montreal, QC.

In this position, the individual will translate design concepts into precise trend forecasting boards, followed up by technical specification packages, ensuring accuracy in garment construction and fit.

Day-to-day tasks include researching “chasing” emerging trends, preparing technical packages, collaborating closely with sales/merchandisers and production teams, and participating in fittings to achieve desired construction and fit requirements.





The Fast Fashion Designer will work with cross-functional partners to maintain consistency in quality standards, support timely product development, and optimize workflows for productive production of samples and final production.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trend Forecasting.

- Strong Technical Design skills, with the ability to interpret and refine design concepts into detailed technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Garment Construction and Fitting, including understanding of fabric behavior, and fit adjustments.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design and illustration software :
- AI enabled software skills an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly document and convey technical information to cross-functional teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in fashion design, technical design, pattern making, or a related field.
