Join the Lloydminster Operations Centre as a full time Parks Caretaker for a term of approximately 12 months, where your horticulture skills will shine. You'll ensure landscapes are beautiful, healthy, and protected for the community. This role demands a blend of two years' experience and post-secondary education in horticulture or landscaping. As a Parks Caretaker, you'll engage in various tasks, including maintaining flower beds, operating landscaping equipment, and supervising seasonal staff. The goal is to enhance the park's usability, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planting and maintenance for parks' landscapes
Prune trees to prevent safety hazards and promote health
Operate equipment such as wood chippers and turf machines
Maintain irrigation systems and repair as needed
Keep trails clean and debris-free for public safety Requirements:
Two-year horticulture or landscaping diploma required
Minimum 2 years of relevant caretaker experience
Valid Pesticide Applicator certification in Alberta/Saskatchewan
Experience with landscaping and snow removal duties
