Work with the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts as a Part time Technical Theatre Specialist! Focused on audio, lighting, and stage technical support for engaging performances. This role, reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, is ideal for candidates with a solid technical theatre background. You will maintain equipment, operate lighting and audio systems, and ensure a protected workplace for all events in this part time capacity. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and mix sound using DiGiCo SD consoles
Program and operate lighting systems for all events
Set up, repair, and rig scenery for diverse performances
Supervise studio theatre events and technical crews
Conduct regular maintenance on theatre equipment Requirements:
Technical Theatre diploma or university degree
At least 3 years' experience in a live performance setting
Expertise in lighting and audio engineering
Required compliance for safety certifications
