Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a motivated Casual Part time Physiotherapy Assistant in Barrie, Ontario. Help residents achieve better mobility and health through tailored therapeutic interventions. Working under the supervision of a physiotherapist, your role will include various essential treatments for residents in long-term care. You'll lead protected, enjoyable exercise classes and ensure treatment areas are clean and organized. Documentation and communication about resident care will be an significant aspect of your daily responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Support physiotherapists in executing care plans
Lead therapeutic exercise classes for groups of residents
Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment
Provide updates on residents’ treatment status to physiotherapists
Log daily treatment activities using the online system Requirements:
Must have PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree
LTC experience preferred but not required
Certification in First Aid & CPR is a must
Requires a valid Vulnerable Sector check
