Join the Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation as a full time Child/Youth Education Behavior Specialist, dedicated to fostering educational success through culturally relevant support. Your expertise in behavioral strategies will play a vital role.This position focuses on providing individualized assistance to First Nations children. Collaborating with educators and health specialists, you will develop and implement strategies that address educational and behavioral challenges. Your role encompasses monitoring progress and facilitating transitions between various services and settings.Key Responsibilities:
Provide educational support as per Child Plans and IEPs
Collaborate with educators for student assessments
Conduct in-home and in-school behavioral coaching




Facilitate culturally responsive interventions
Maintain confidentiality and secure client informationRequirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline
Minor experience in mental health with children/youth
Understanding of Indigenous cultural safety principles
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Proficiency in Microsoft Office toolsBring your skills in education and cultural understanding to support First Nations youth in their growth and development at Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
