Join REDS Recreation as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Instructor in Fredericton, leading inclusive fitness programming for diverse populations and promoting wellness. The University of Current Brunswick's REDS Recreation is looking for an instructor for part time opportunities over a term of one year. This position is pivotal in guiding exercise programs for older adults and those managing chronic conditions, alongside contributing to group fitness classes. You will also be responsible for developing exercise prescriptions tailored to individual fitness assessments. Key Responsibilities:
Instruct fitness programs for older adults and special populations
Create and evaluate personalized exercise plans
Train and mentor fellow instructors in the fitness domain
Conduct assessments for individual and group participants
Deliver personal training sessions based on health assessments Requirements:
CSEP-CEP certification for Clinical Exercise Physiologists
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or healthcare
Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
Experience teaching in diverse and specialized fitness settings
