This permanent, full time role involves 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules to provide emergency assistance in various settings. You will conduct assessments and provide life-saving interventions together with a cooperative healthcare team. The ACP is crucial in fostering a culture of safety and person-centered care, actively participating in response teams and sharing knowledge with peers and students. Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced medical interventions in emergency situations
Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations
Collaborate within the Emergency Department for optimal patient outcomes
Act as a preceptor for paramedic students, sharing expertise
Advocate for and implement safety protocols in practices Requirements:
High School diploma valid in Newfoundland and Labrador
Graduate from an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program
Up-to-date BLS and OPMD Certifications
Current Class IV driver's license and abstract
