Join us at Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre as a Security Ambassador, safeguarding our community and making a real difference in the lives of those in need. This full time day shift position operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, following a 4 on/4 off schedule. As a Security Ambassador, you will address safety concerns and uphold a dignified setting for all patrons. Your role integrates with community partners to enhance support for individuals experiencing homelessness. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the facility and communicate safety protocols
Engage with clients around housing discussions
Collaborate with local emergency services for safety
Provide assistance and guidance to guests and volunteers
Conduct regular patrols and maintain building security Requirements:
Alberta Security License is mandatory
Recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
Experience in human services is advantageous
Robust problem-solving and communication skills
