Aviva Trial Lawyers is expanding its Ontario offices and seeks a Litigation Clerk to assist a lawyer with accident perks. Candidates should have legal assistant or law clerk experience, particularly in insurance defense or personal injury litigation.
You will be vital in preparing legal documents, managing case files, and liaising with external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare various legal documents and correspondence
Compile books of authorities and factums for court
Summarize discovery notes and medical reports
Arrange independent medical exams and investigations
Keep lawyer's calendar organized and updated
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience
Proficient in Civil Procedure Rules and court forms
Excellent MS Word and Outlook skills
