As a vital member of our Substations group, Valard Construction is looking for an experienced Estimator. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Electrical Utility Construction, particularly with substations and BESS. Responsibilities include developing complete project estimates and compiling necessary materials for competitive tender packages.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct project site visits for accurate estimates
Format estimates in the Owners Reporting format
Analyze historical data for exact projections
Prepare detailed written deliverables for bids
Assist in project planning and logistics

Requirements:
Relevant post-Secondary education in Electrical Engineering
5 years of utility construction experience
Experience preparing bid submissions
Knowledgeable in estimating software, preferably InEight
Solid ability to read design documents
