In this critical role, you'll partner with the Global General Counsel to manage a diverse range of legal issues for Tilray's Canadian operations. Candidates should possess strong skills in commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management. You'll proactively navigate a fast-changing regulatory landscape while providing sound legal guidance to business units and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide flexible legal support across various business functions
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
• Advise on compliance with the Cannabis Act and Regulations
• Monitor Canadian regulatory changes and assess impacts
• Support trade marketing, compliance, and product initiatives
Requirements:
• Juris Doctorate/LLB and valuable standing with the Law Society
• 4-8 years in commercial and regulatory law
• Strong risk management skills
• Experience in a regulated industry is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
