Box Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our client for a permanent position based in Calgary, AB.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineering qualified with a solid background managing municipal water and wastewater projects within the consulting industry.

The Project Manager will lead projects involving pump stations, lift stations, water treatment upgrades, and wastewater treatment infrastructure while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

Location: Calgary, AB Job Type: Permanent Schedule: In-office 5 days per week for the first 3 months, hybrid schedule after first 3 months Additional compensation and benefits include: 3 weeks of vacation for employees with less than 10 years of experience 4 weeks of vacation for employees with 10+ years of experience Extended health and dental benefits, 80% employer paid 3% pension matching after 6 months Fitness allowance Professional development program providing 32 hours per year Discretionary bonus Week off between Christmas and New Year''s Relocation candidates will be considered, with relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities Manage a variety of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Lead projects involving pump stations, lift stations, water treatment upgrades, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Provide project planning, design coordination, and client-focused technical expertise.

Lead strategic project planning, project management, and project delivery.

Maintain strong communication with clients and manage expectations throughout project delivery.

Guide multidisciplinary project teams through the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.

Ensure project and client requirements are addressed effectively and within required timelines.





Prepare proposals and support business development and marketing activities within the municipal sector.

Work closely with management on business planning, staffing requirements, and growth of the group.

Support the continued development of client relationships within the municipal water and wastewater sector.

Qualifications Must-Haves Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution or diploma in Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institution.

Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or as a Technologist with ASET .

Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience within the engineering consulting industry .

Experience focused on the municipal water and/or wastewater sector .

Proven project management experience.

Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects such as water or wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, or lift stations.

Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Valid driver''s licence.

Ability to travel within Canada.

Nice-to-Haves Experience preparing proposals and supporting business development within the municipal sector.

Experience contributing to business planning, staffing, or growth initiatives.

Interest in developing toward technical leadership, project management, client management, or broader business leadership responsibilities.





Strong leadership potential and a desire for continued career advancement.
