Role Description The Director Project Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for overseeing complex projects and programs from initiation through completion. This position leads project teams, defines scopes and timelines, manages budgets, and ensures that deliverables align with strategic business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing project governance frameworks, monitoring progress and risks, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and reporting on status, outcomes, and performance metrics.

The director drives process improvements, standardizes project management practices, and mentors project managers and team members to enhance execution capabilities.



This role also collaborates with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and support long-term organizational planning.

Qualifications

- Robust project and program management skills, including Project Management and Program Management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting, with the ability to develop, manage, and optimize project and program financials.
- Proven Team Leadership capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams, coaching staff, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Experience in Process Improvement, with a track record of implementing standardized methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are an asset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including risk management and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working in an on-site leadership role and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
