Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time remote role that works directly with clients to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions tailored to their business needs. In this role, you will translate strategic use cases into technical architectures, implement data pipelines and integrations, and develop AI applications, copilots, and automation workflows. You will collaborate with client stakeholders and TurnifAI consultants to gather requirements, prototype solutions, iterate on models, and ensure secure, reliable deployment in production environments.

Day-to-day work includes hands-on coding, debugging, performance optimization, and documentation,



as well as supporting client teams with technical onboarding and knowledge transfer. You will contribute to best practices in responsible AI, help refine TurnifAI’s engineering standards, and participate in continuous improvement of tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

- Strong software engineering foundation, with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go) and experience building production-grade applications or services.
- Applied AI and data skills, including experience with machine learning or LLM-based systems, data pipelines, APIs, and integrating AI models into real-world workflows.
- Cloud and infrastructure skills, such as working with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices for reliable deployment.
- Client-facing and collaboration abilities, including requirements gathering, clear technical communication with non-technical stakeholders, and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and delivery skills, with a track record of scoping projects, breaking down complex problems, and shipping incremental solutions in agile or iterative environments.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and responsible AI considerations, including data privacy, access control, and risk-aware deployment of AI systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
