About Droply

Droply is building a simpler way for people to discover and play sports around them.

We're an early-stage startup working to remove the friction between wanting to play and actually finding where to play. As we grow, we're building our first student Growth team to help bring Droply to university communities across British Columbia.

The Role

We're looking for ambitious university and college students who want hands-on experience growing an early-stage startup. As a Growth Associate, you'll work directly with Droply's founding team and take ownership of growing the platform within your university community. This isn't a role where you'll simply repost content. You'll have the opportunity to test ideas, run growth experiments, build partnerships, acquire users, and help shape how Droply expands into new communities.

What You'll Work On

- Develop and test creative strategies to grow Droply at your university
- Drive user acquisition through campus communities and student networks
- Build relationships with clubs, student organizations, intramurals, and other campus groups
- Help execute marketing campaigns, events, and campus activations
- Identify potential partnerships and growth opportunities
- Gather feedback directly from students and communicate insights to the founding team
- Track the performance of growth initiatives and learn what drives adoption
- Bring your own ideas to the table and have the chance to execute them

Who We're Looking For





- Current university or college students in British Columbia
- Interested in startups, growth, marketing, entrepreneurship, sports, or community building
- Creative, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
- Strong communicators who enjoy connecting with people
- Familiar with their campus community or excited to become more involved
- Able to work independently and experiment with new ideas

No previous startup or marketing experience is required. We care more about initiative, creativity, and willingness to learn.

Commitment

Approximately 1–2 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around school.

Compensation

Droply is currently an early-stage startup, and this position is initially unpaid. The role is intended for students looking to gain hands-on startup experience and take meaningful ownership of real growth initiatives.
