Role Description The HR & Operation Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Burnaby, BC, responsible for supporting both human resources processes and daily operational activities. In this role, the coordinator manages HR documentation, assists with recruitment and onboarding, maintains employee records, and supports the administration of advantages and HR policies. They help operate and optimize workflows related to staffing, scheduling, and compliance, while coordinating communication between management and team members.
The coordinator also works with HR systems to ensure accurate data entry, assists in tracking performance and attendance, and supports general office and operational tasks that keep G&A; ROBOT’s automated vending services running smoothly.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in HR. Ability to support HR Operations and support HR Management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and policy administration.
- Knowledge of core Human Resources (HR) practices and procedures, with a focus on employee relations and compliance.
- Experience administering Employee Benefits and handling related documentation and inquiries.
- Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including maintaining accurate records and generating reports.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment; experience in foodservice, retail, or technology sectors is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits The expected annual total compensation for this position is CAD $55,000–60,000. The final package will be based on the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and fit for the role.
The compensation package includes
- Base salary: CAD $48,000–55,000
- Company equity that vests annually, subject to the applicable equity plan, grant terms, and vesting schedule
