As a key player in GFL's maintenance team, you will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete administrative tasks. Your role includes planning repairs, procuring parts, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. You'll work independently and utilize power tools to ensure the high standards of our heavy-duty fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose operational difficulties with heavy-duty diesel equipment
• Maintain repair records and administrative documentation
• Plan and schedule repairs using M5 planner




• Ensure safe working conditions according to regulations
• Assist training of new employees with industry best practices
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred
• Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience
• Familiarity with diagnostic software is a plus
• Must be computer literate and willing to learn new software
• Meet safety-sensitive criteria as per company standards
