As a Technical Supervisor, you will manage the technical aspects of shows and events, troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires hands-on experience in sound, lighting, and rigging, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
You will collaborate with outside contractors and other departments to ensure high-quality performances and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise technical work at Entertainment venues
- Troubleshoot daily technical issues efficiently
- Liaise with contractors to ensure communication
- Maintain quality of shows as per manager's standards
- Generate weekly staff schedules alongside Stage Supervisors
Requirements:
- Enrolled or graduated from a post-secondary theatre program
- Proven leadership and guest service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Dependable in diverse weather conditions
- Adaptable availability including weekends and holidays
