In this role, under the guidance of the Plant Operations Manager, you will lead engineering efforts on complex water and wastewater treatment projects and initiate innovative best practices. Your ability to manage projects with a diverse team will be key in achieving operational efficiency and environmental compliance in Hamilton’s treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical projects in water and wastewater management
• Optimize treatment processes for efficiency and compliance




• Facilitate teamwork between internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct water and wastewater studies and develop programs
• Represent the City in discussions with contractors and the public

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Skilled Engineer license in Ontario
• Deep knowledge of water and wastewater industry
• Proven experience in project leadership and management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
