**Standard Job Description**
The candidate will participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) and a college/university where they are enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company.

Candidate will perform assigned tasks in technical/engineering disciplines e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering.

Specifically, the candidate will perform software development work for naval programs.

This may include: Programming and debugging in both C++ and Java
Unit testing and documentation
Software design
Status & Metrics Reporting
Working in an Agile team setting
Various other tasks as required.
**Basic Qualifications**




Current student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or substantially similar field
Aptitude for programming and debugging with the latest tools in an Object-Oriented environment
Knowledge of programming in Java
Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner
**Desired Skills**
Knowledge of programming in C++ Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practices
Good communication skills, and ability to work within a team
Active Security Clearance will be considered an asset.
