Role Description The Human Resources Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in Dorval, QC, responsible for supporting and enhancing HR operations within the laboratory environment. This role includes managing day-to-day HR activities such as administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training, and ensuring job descriptions remain current and aligned with organizational needs.

The Human Resources

Officer will handle employee relations matters, support performance management processes, and assist with training and development initiatives. In collaboration with management, this role will help ensure compliance with employment legislation, promote a secure and inclusive workplace, and contribute to HR projects that support organizational growth.

HR Officer will also managed day-to-day business operations, including scheduling, staff coordination, and client records, to maintain and organized and compliant workplace

Qualifications

- Strong Human Resources (HR) foundation,



including HR Management and practical experience applying HR Policies.
- Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, staff communication, and supporting a respectful workplace.
- Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations in Quebec and Canada, and familiarity with best practices in HR compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or GMP regulated environment is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP/CRHA) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dorval, QC, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Biligualism is Must (French and English)
