We are looking for an experienced Law Clerk who enjoys moving files forward, solving problems and keeping a busy practice organized even when the calendar has other plans.

This is more than a task-based role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their files, exercise sound judgment and provide leadership within the team. You will work closely with a lawyer who values collaboration, initiative and honest communication.

You may be the right fit if you:

✅ Have 5 plus years of law-clerk experience in Personal Injury

✅ Are highly organized and comfortable managing competing deadlines

✅ Demonstrate leadership through initiative, accountability and teamwork

✅ Can guide and support junior staff

✅ Draft clear, accurate and skilled legal documents

✅ Communicate confidently with clients, counsel, insurers, experts and court staff

✅ Notice potential problems before they become urgent

✅ Can keep a lawyer organized without making it look like a full-time sport

✅ Bring professionalism, sound judgment and a sense of humour to the workplace

What you’ll do

- Manage files from opening through resolution




- Draft correspondence, pleadings, affidavits and briefs
- Monitor limitation periods, deadlines and undertakings
- Review and organize medical, financial and documentary evidence
- Prepare files for examinations, mediations, motions and trials
- Help lead the team and improve office systems and workflows
