Our practice is looking for a Medical Esthetician / Laser Technician to join our medical spa. This is a key, hands on patient role with significant influence on patient experience, satisfaction, education, treatments and sales. Training is provided on our systems, products, protocols and equipment. We are looking for staff who LOVE making people feel great about themselves!

REQUIREMENTS

- Certification or diploma in clinical aesthetics/lasers (minimum 2 year experience)
- Certification in dermaplaning
- Strong knowledge of skincare products and active ingredients
- Thorough understanding of skin anatomy and the Fitzpatrick scale
- Ability to apply critical thinking based on individual assessments
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent writing and oral skills- exceptional customer service skills - must have a desire to educate and sell skincare products and services
- High level of professionalism and care in personal presentation




- Able to work - 4-5 days per week, including evenings & Saturdays
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be a helpful and supportive team player
- Strong computer skills along with problem solving abilities and good decision making
- Familiar with Jane Booking app an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and a prioritization for safety and proper documentation
- Continuously have a drive for furthering education and providing the most advanced/safest techniques and services

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Educate clients and recommend treatments and absolutely LOVE it
- Provide laser treatments
- Be able to provide general knowledge on injectable treatments such neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Sterilization of tools and setting
- Practice safety procedures for both the client and the healthcare team
- Accurate documentation of charts and updating patient profiles after treatments and encounters.
- Familiar with social media, eg. Facebook & Instagram
- Must love the industry and working with people, as well as hold personal growth and learning to a high standard

COMPENSATION

Base hourly wage plus performance-based commission.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
