Description The Conklin Resource Development Advisory Committee (“CRDAC”) is requesting a quote from a qualified contractor/company (the “Contractor”, herein) to complete landscaping services within Conklin.

Timeline

Must be able to start on or before September 21, 2026, based on an authorization to proceed by September 16, 2026. Completion by October 20, 2026.

Expectations The Scope of Work for 111 and 139 Pine Lane includes:

Supply and install of driveways for each lot, using 40mm compacted gravel (or equivalent).

- The total amount of gravel required is approximately 689 m2 at a 150 mm depth for a total volume of approximately 103 m3. Below is the lot breakdown for gravel:
- 111 Pine Lane: 255 m2
- 139 Pine Lane: 434 m2
- Gravel driveways are outlined on each plot plan in orange highlight.
- Driveways to be compacted using a mechanical tamper and moisture conditioning to achieve a solid, erosion resistance surface.

Includes all required subgrade preparation (clean-up, grading, compaction) prior to the construction of the driveways. Supply and install of topsoil and sod for each lot.
- The total area requiring topsoil is approximately 2,005 m2 at a 100 mm depth for a total volume of approximately 200 m3. The total area requiring sod is approximately 2,005 m2. Below is the lot breakdown for area:
- 111 Pine Lane: 870 m2
- 139 Pine Lane: 1,135m2
- Topsoil and sod areas are outlined on each plot plan in green highlight.
- Includes watering and maintenance until sod is established.
- Includes any necessary grading of the existing ground to achieve drainage away from the home, towards right-of ways or natural/existing drainage channels.
- Re-establish and define existing drainage channel along the south edge of 139 Pine Lane to drain towards the road drainage ditch without obstruction.




- Any necessary route/haul permitting is to be completed by the Contractor.

Requirements The Contractor shall ensure it meets the following criteria and requirements:

- A valid business license to operate in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. A locally owned and operated business is preferred;
- Must have experience and necessary equipment to complete the service;
- Must have a minimum of $2,000,000 liability insurance policy and adequate insurance on any vehicle or equipment necessary to fulfill the requirements of the service. A copy of this insurance policy must be made available to CRDAC upon request; and
- Workers’ Compensation Board (“WCB”) Clearance.

Payment Terms The Contractor shall provide an invoice to the CRDAC for services rendered on a mutually agreed basis. An execution of a service agreement will be required. Independent Contractor The Contractor shall act as an independent contractor and not as an employee of CRDAC.
