Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer with extensive expertise in designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Oracle/SQL, REST APIs, PL/SQL, Oracle E-Business Suite, ETL, microservices, and Azure DevOps.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical specifications into robust, tested applications, troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting implementation and migration activities, and collaborating with technical and functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer working with large-scale, multi-client web applications.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java development using Oracle or SQL databases.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services.
- Knowledge of security gateways and protocols, including:
- JWT
- OAuth 2.0
- SSL Certificates

Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge and experience with OPS Development Standards/Processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Software Application Development
- Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications.
- Write and/or generate application code.
- Compile data-driven programs.
- Maintain applications and conduct unit testing.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems arising during software operation.
- Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
- Software Development Life Cycle
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
- Apply structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Participate in application design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
- Utilize query languages and information retrieval packages.
- Work with communications protocols.
- Elicit and document information from diverse business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Conduct technical design walkthroughs with project teams.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.




- Prepare user and system documentation as required.
- Oracle E-Business & Database Development
- Conduct impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
- Support conversion activities, particularly within Accounts Receivable and Collections modules.
- Develop and maintain solutions using:
- Oracle Database
- PL/SQL
- SQL
- XML
- Unix Shell Scripts
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

- Demonstrate strong business knowledge of:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Collections
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Inventory (INV)

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structures related to:

- GL
- AR
- Collections
- AP
- INV
- FND

- Perform SQL tuning and work with partitioned tables.
- Apply data warehouse and ETL methodologies.
- Work with OBIEE and related reporting technologies.
- Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is an asset.
- Provide technical leadership and oversee project quality assurance from a technical perspective.
