Role Description The Software Architect Revenue Cycle Management role is a full-time, on-site position based in Canada. This role involves designing and overseeing the architecture of RCM software solutions that support invoicing, billing, collections, and related financial workflows.
The Software
Architect collaborates with product managers, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, select appropriate technologies, and define integration patterns. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating architectural blueprints, guiding software design and development practices, reviewing code and system components for quality and performance,
and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and reliability standards. The role also includes mentoring engineers, conducting design reviews, and continuously improving the technical stack to support the evolving needs of the RCM business.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Software Architecture and Software Design, with experience creating scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks relevant to RCM or financial systems.
- Proficiency in applying Design Patterns and architectural best practices to complex, distributed applications.
- Experience with databases, APIs, microservices, and system integration in high-transaction, data-sensitive environments.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, financial systems, or healthcare billing is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document architectural decisions.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams and conducting technical reviews.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
