We are looking for a mature, reliable, and highly organized individual to help manage the day-to-day needs of a busy family home. The primary focus of this position is household upkeep and support. The goal is to have someone take ownership of the everyday household responsibilities so that Mom can focus her time and energy on her children and family. Responsibilities include: General household cleaning and maintaining a clean, organized home Cleaning and tidying the kitchen after breakfast and dinner Laundry, including washing, folding, putting away and keeping on top of household linens Grocery shopping and keeping household essentials stocked Meal preparation and helping prepare family meals General tidying and household organization Noticing what needs to be done around the home and taking initiative without requiring constant direction Occasional short-term supervision of the children when needed. For example, while Mom showers, attends an appointment or runs a quick errand Other reasonable household-related tasks as needed The ideal candidate is: Trustworthy and dependable Warm and comfortable around children Experienced in maintaining and organizing a family home Proactive and able to work independently A good cook or comfortable with everyday family meal preparation Respectful of the family's privacy and comfortable working in a private household Adaptable and willing to help where needed Has a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
