McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role

Reporting to the general supervisor, maintenance, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary trades teams that support both surface and underground operations. This role provides oversight of millwright, plumbing, and carpentry functions, ensuring safe, reliable, and productive maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and facilities. The position works closely with other discipline supervisors to coordinate priorities and contribute to overall site performance.

You will coach and develop a team and contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment that supports continuous improvement.

In This Role, You Will

- lead and coordinate all millwright activities across process circuits, mobile equipment,



and underground mining equipment for both surface and underground operations at McArthur River.
- supervise maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting activities related to mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, conveyors, pumps, crushers, and associated systems.
- collaborate with your counterpart to establish a night shift schedule that ensures continuous coverage, as full night shift coverage is required in this position.
- provide oversight of night shift activities as required, including supporting and covering night shift operations across other maintenance disciplines.
- work alongside other discipline supervisors to support shared operational objectives and ensure productive, safe, and reliable site performance.
- play an active role in operational reliability and overall asset health.
- participate in predictive, preventative, and condition-based maintenance activities.
- oversee all maintenance disciplines at times when coverage is required.

Required

- valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson industrial mechanic/millwright certification;
- 10 years of relevant work experience;
- three years minimum working in an underground mining environment;
- previous supervisory experience;
- strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills;
- ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisors certificate;
- first aid certificate;
- Class 5 driver’s license; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended

- previous working experience using Microsoft Office suite, SAP S/4HANA, Sigga, and/or Bentley computer systems; and




- experience using mobile devices including Ipad’s or Iphone’s for work orders and other regular day to day business communications.

Conditions Of Employment
