Universal Limbs Foundation is looking for a WordPress Website Developer to help us complete and launch our nonprofit website.

This is a fully volunteer position. You will work directly with the Founder to organize, transfer, and build our existing website content into WordPress.

Our Mission

Universal Limbs Foundation is a Canadian nonprofit working to improve access to prosthetic care for people affected by conflict and limited healthcare access.

Our work focuses on developing and providing low-cost, practical upper-limb prosthetic solutions, with a strong focus on children where traditional prosthetic clinics, equipment, and resources may not be easily available.

We are building systems that can make prosthetic care more accessible, easier to produce, and easier to deliver in low-resource environments.

This website will help us communicate our work, attract researchers and volunteers, build partnerships, and support future programs for patients who need prosthetic care.

What We Need Help With

We already have content, information, and ideas developed. We need someone who can help turn this into a clean, professional WordPress website.

The goal is to have the main website completed and ready to launch within approximately one week.

You would help with:

- Transferring existing website content into WordPress

Working directly with the directors to understand the structure and priorities : (1) Focused on the past work and its impact

(2) current ongojng wirk and status

(3) future vision and its impact

(4) Ensuring to take the phase 3 project requirements and build it on the website.

- Organizing pages, navigation, and website content
- Making the website minimal , clean, straightforward

- Ensuring the site works properly on desktop and mobile
- Setting up forms, links, buttons, surveys and basic website functionality
- Helping migrate existing images, text, documents, and other website materials
- Helping us get the website ready for launch within the one-week project period

TBD with all directod. First call with prosthetist and her team will be set up and prioritized.

Important: This Is a Volunteer Role

We are looking for someone who can execute, move quickly, and get things done.

This is a role for someone who wants to get things done. We need someone who can understand the direction from the directors, make good decisions, build the website, and keep the project moving.
