Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing incoming payments and maintaining accurate customer account records. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and sending invoices, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and monitoring outstanding balances. The specialist will follow up on past-due accounts, coordinate debt collection efforts in a professional manner, and communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.

The role also involves generating basic financial reports related to accounts receivable, supporting month-end closing activities,



and adhering to company policies and relevant financial procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to review account activity, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to accounts receivable.
- Clear and skilled communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Experience with invoicing processes, including preparing, sending, and tracking invoices.
- Background in debt collection or managing past-due accounts in a professional, compliant manner.
- Proficiency with accounting or billing software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Prior experience in real estate, property management, or professional services is an advantage.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
