Role Description The Afternoon Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, ON, responsible for overseeing daily transportation and logistics operations during afternoon shifts. This role coordinates driver dispatch, shipment scheduling, and routing to ensure timely and efficient deliveries across Kuthala Group’s transport and storage network.

The Afternoon Logistics

Coordinator monitors load status, updates internal systems, and communicates with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service quality. Daily tasks include verifying documentation, managing appointment times,



optimizing equipment utilization, and supporting compliance with safety and company policies. The role also involves tracking key performance indicators, assisting with problem-solving in real time, and contributing to continuous process improvements in logistics operations.

Qualifications

- Experience in logistics coordination, transportation dispatch, or supply chain operations, preferably in trucking or warehousing environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines during afternoon shifts.
- Proficiency with logistics or transportation management systems (TMS), basic computer skills (MS Office), and comfortable working with digital documentation.
- Clear and qualified communication skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and internal teams, both in person and by phone/email.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to handle route changes, delays, and operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON, during afternoon hours, with reliability and a strong sense of accountability.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and familiarity with North American trucking routes is beneficial.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in logistics, transportation, or business is an asset.
