Role Description: The Technical Development Assistant is a full-time, 1 year contract, in office role based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. This position supports the technical development of apparel styles, including preparing and updating technical packages, tracking samples, and assisting with fit sessions and garment measurements. The role involves coordinating with design, production, and external vendors to ensure accurate specifications, quality standards, and timely approvals.

The assistant maintains organized records, manages data entry in product development systems, and helps monitor critical path timelines. This role contributes to continuous improvement in fit,



construction, and production readiness while supporting the broader product development team.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and research abilities to review measurements, specifications, and technical data.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess administrative assistance skills, including document management, data entry accuracy, and scheduling support.
- Candidates should possess project management skills to track samples, manage timelines, and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Relevant qualifications include familiarity with apparel construction and fit, proficiency with spreadsheets and product lifecycle management tools, and strong attention to detail.
- Post-secondary education in fashion design, apparel technology, or a related field, or comparable experience in product development, is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Vancouver area, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
