Position: Azure Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - Minimum 2 days/week onsite)

Contract Type: Contract

Experience Level: 3+ Years

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise-grade Azure cloud, data, and analytics platforms.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform.
- Build and manage automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Support, administer, and optimize Power BI platform environments.
- Implement and configure core Azure Data Platform services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
- Manage Azure networking components including VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, and DNS.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Perform platform operational support, logging, monitoring, cost governance,



and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Engineering.
- Solid working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
- Proven hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Solid background in Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, DNS).
- Power BI platform administration and deployment experience.
- Solid grasp of data engineering fundamentals (data lakes, ingestion patterns, and data pipelines).
- Must be local to Toronto, ON and available for hybrid work (2 days/week onsite).

Nice to Have

- Azure Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, or DP-203.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cloud cost governance.
