Role Overview

We are hiring a Blockchain Research Analyst to support blockchain research, market analysis, ecosystem intelligence, and education-focused insights across Web3 and cryptocurrency markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on blockchain technology, Web3 ecosystems, crypto markets, digital assets, and emerging decentralized applications.

The Blockchain Research Analyst will research blockchain trends, monitor Web3 market developments, prepare ecosystem insights, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives across blockchain networks, smart contracts, DeFi, tokenized assets, digital identity, Web3 infrastructure, and crypto-native products. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in blockchain research, Web3 education, cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, and emerging technology innovation.

What You’ll Do

- Research blockchain networks, Web3 ecosystems, cryptocurrency markets, digital assets,



smart contracts, DeFi protocols, tokenized assets, and decentralized applications
- Monitor developments across layer-1 and layer-2 networks, blockchain infrastructure, crypto markets, Web3 startups, industry events, and emerging technology applications
- Support market research, ecosystem mapping, industry analysis, educational content, research briefs, and blockchain opportunity assessments
- Prepare blockchain research notes, market intelligence updates, ecosystem summaries, technical explainers, event support materials, and Web3 trend reports
- Track activity across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, blockchain communities, university ecosystems, industry partnerships, regulatory updates, and institutional adoption
- Evaluate opportunities across blockchain education, Web3 infrastructure, digital assets, smart contracts, decentralized applications, and crypto-native financial products
- Collaborate with team members on research initiatives, knowledge-sharing projects, ecosystem partnerships, event preparation, and Web3 education programs
- Maintain organized research files, ecosystem trackers, project notes, token watchlists, event resources, and blockchain intelligence materials

What We’re Looking For

- Robust interest in blockchain technology, Web3 ecosystems, cryptocurrency, digital assets,



decentralized applications, and emerging technology research
- Familiarity with blockchain networks, crypto markets, smart contracts, DeFi, digital assets, Web3 communities, or decentralized technology applications
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, wallets, transactions, consensus mechanisms, token utility, Web3 business models, and digital finance concepts
- Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, GitHub, TradingView, market data platforms, research tools, or community platforms is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, writing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain blockchain concepts, Web3 trends, crypto market developments, digital asset risks, and ecosystem opportunities clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research and analysis priorities
- Previous experience in blockchain communities, crypto research, fintech, technology clubs, market research, academic projects, or Web3 initiatives is helpful

Compensation

Salary range: CAD95,000 - CAD125,000 per year depending on experience
