Finance & Administration FocusIndependent Contractor Position | Remote (Alberta-based preferred)
Contract Range: $70,000-80,000/year

We’re passionate about making these experiences accessible, seamless, and truly world-class, and we’re looking for a Business Coordinator to join our team on a full-time contract basis, strengthening our financial and administrative capacity while contributing across our business.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on role combining finance, bookkeeping, business administration and guest experience within a small, collaborative team. You’ll take primary responsibility for day-to-day financial administration while also supporting broader company day-to-day administrative operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and financial reconciliations
- Support annual budgeting, track actuals against budget and maintain cash-flow forecasts
- Prepare regular financial reporting and track tour-level revenues, costs and profitability
- Coordinate with external accountants and financial service providers
- Oversee purchasing, supplier contracts, invoices, payments and financial records
- Support development of the annual Business Plan and provide financial information for decision-making
- Develop and improve administrative processes and standard operating procedures
- Complete customer bookings, payments and customer administration processes
- Develop materials to support seamless execution of expeditions, including manifests, itineraries, expedition packages, and staff programs
- Respond to customer inquiries, including answering phones, monitoring email inboxes, and sending communications to guests, and other administrative functions as required
- Attend company tours as required to support operations and the customer experience
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience with a focus on financial and operations administration
- Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting
- Strong accounting software skills; Xero experience is an asset
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent organization, accuracy and attention to detail
- Passion for customer-facing interactions in a professional and supportive manner
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across the business
- Accounting, finance or business education is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Interest in the tourism industry and travel experience is an asset
