About The Role

Step into your future as a Data Analyst within Manulife's GRO program, specifically through the Data Office stream. This is an exceptional prospect for recent graduates to contribute to transforming operations by leveraging data as a strategic asset. Over an 18-month period, you will develop tools and insights that support our business objectives, gaining hands-on experience across key areas such as Customer Experience, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement.

As part of the GRO Operations team, you will be immersed in a supportive environment that emphasizes structured learning, mentorship, leadership exposure, and professional development.

Your role will involve designing and delivering data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance decision-making processes, improve operational efficiencies, and create measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate across teams, contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, and identify innovative opportunities to utilize data and automation technologies. This position offers a pathway to a meaningful, future-ready career in data analytics and digital transformation within the financial services industry.

Qualifications





- Expected to graduate in Spring 2027 from an accredited university with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and tell compelling stories
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) or comparable automation and data visualization tools
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and data-related tasks
- Exposure to Azure, APIs, cloud computing concepts, or low-code platforms is an asset
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach
- Curious, creative, and open-minded with a continuous learning mindset
- Proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute across various functions
- Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder relationship skills
- Understanding of the financial services industry, including wealth and asset management, is desirable

Responsibilities

- Help design and implement data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational workflows and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, end-to-end solutions
- Contribute throughout the project lifecycle—from idea generation to deployment and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities where data, automation, and AI can drive measurable business outcomes
- Develop scalable data pipelines, architectures, and models to support analytics and AI initiatives




- Create impactful dashboards, reports, and data products using tools like Power BI
- Apply data governance and quality standards to ensure trusted insights
- Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Support testing, change management, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful adoption of solutions
- Design and build automation and digital solutions using Power Platform, Azure, and modern programming tools
- Develop AI-enabled applications and workflows leveraging Azure AI, Copilot, and related technologies
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and enhance applications to ensure continuous improvement and scalability
