Kids & Company is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated 1:1 Inclusion Support Educator to provide individualized support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role requires someone who is committed to fostering positive relationships, promoting independence, and helping children thrive both socially and emotionally.

Schedule
This position follows a school-aged schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Full-day availability required on PD Days, school closure days, and school holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within the classroom environment.
- Implement individualized strategies and supports to encourage participation, engagement, and independence.
- Support the child's social, emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with families, Centre Directors, educators, and outside professionals such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
- Maintain accurate documentation, observations, and progress records as required.
- Support transitions throughout the day and help create consistency in routines.
- Foster a protected, inclusive, and nurturing learning setting.
- Complete daily attendance records and health and safety checks.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
- Previous experience supporting children with exceptionalities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is required.
- Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B certification.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.
