Role Description: This is a full-time/ Part time, on-site role for Family Physicians located in Ontario. In this position, physicians provide comprehensive primary care, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions across all ages.
Responsibilities include offering walk-in and urgent care services for non-emergency concerns, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating preventive care such as vaccinations and health screenings. Physicians will collaborate with other healthcare team members,
maintain accurate and timely medical records, and support continuity of care through follow-up visits, patient education, and appropriate referrals to specialists or community health resources. The role also involves contributing to a respectful, inclusive clinic environment that supports high-quality, accessible care.
Qualifications
- Solid skills in Primary Care and Family Medicine, with the ability to provide comprehensive, longitudinal care to individuals and families.
- Clinical competence in Medicine and Urgent Care for managing acute, non-emergency conditions in a walk-in setting.
- Experience or interest in Community Health, including collaboration with local health resources and support services.
- Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice family medicine in Ontario, with certification from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred, culturally sensitive, and non-discriminatory care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Competence in using electronic medical records (EMR) and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to manage a balanced caseload, prioritize patient needs, and adapt to clinic workflows and protocols.
