Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Edmonton, Alberta. This position is responsible for developing and presenting finance and insurance options to customers, ensuring all agreements comply with dealership policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing credit applications, securing approvals from lenders, preparing and finalizing all finance and lease documentation, and explaining terms and products clearly to customers.

The Finance

Manager will collaborate closely with sales and management teams to optimize deal structures, maximize profitability, and maintain a positive customer experience. Additional responsibilities include monitoring finance performance metrics, maintaining accurate records,



and staying current with industry regulations and lender programs.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in automotive finance, banking, or a related financial services role, preferably in a dealership environment.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, credit review, deal structuring, and understanding of lending practices and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, finance software, and general computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM tools).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, respectful manner.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and leadership while also making sound independent decisions.
- Post-secondary education in finance, business, accounting, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of Alberta automotive, finance, and privacy regulations, or willingness to quickly learn and comply with applicable laws.
