Augmnt helps companies access independent AI and IT consultants across areas including AI/ML, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

As an early-stage company, we are looking for someone who is excited to learn quickly, take ownership, experiment with new ideas, and work across different areas of the business.

As a Growth & Operations Associate, you will work directly with the founder across business development, account management, recruiting, marketing, and business operations. This is a broad, hands-on role designed for someone who wants exposure to how an early-stage business operates.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Account Management

- Learn Augmnt’s customers, services, and sales approach.
- Use various sales tools to identify and engage prospects.
- Research prospecting, outreach, automation, and sales tools and recommend what we should test.
- Build prospect lists, manage follow-ups, and help improve our outbound process.
- Uncover and manager new and existing accounts

Recruiting

- Work on active AI and IT contract roles.
- Source, identify, and conduct initial outreach to qualified independent consultants.




- Learn to assess candidate experience against technical requirements.
- Build reusable consultant pipelines for recurring skill sets.
- Support candidate screens, submissions, and interview coordination.

Marketing

- Help grow Augmnt’s presence across LinkedIn and other channels.
- Learn Buffer as a starting point, research alternatives, and recommend tools or approaches.
- Research how similar staffing, consulting, and AI companies market themselves.
- Assist with content, company updates, campaigns, and lead-generation ideas.

Operations

- Learn how Augmnt manages consultants, clients, contracts, invoicing, timesheets, CRM, and internal processes.
- Keep operational information organized and up to date.
- Document repeatable processes and identify opportunities to simplify or automate them.
- Gradually take ownership of recurring administrative and operational tasks.

What We’re Looking For

- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with candidates and customers.
- Naturally curious and willing to research unfamiliar topics.
- Comfortable experimenting with technology, AI tools, and recent software.
- Organized and able to manage several different priorities.
- Resourceful - comfortable being given a problem and researching possible solutions.
- Interested in technology, AI, recruiting, sales, or entrepreneurship.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where responsibilities will evolve.
