POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Information Systems is responsible for leading the organization's information technology function, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, business systems, and user support services. This role develops and executes both short and long-term technology strategies that support business objectives, improve operational efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure business continuity.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, corporate standards, cybersecurity requirements, and risk management practices.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI, automation, analytics, and digital solutions, to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and business value while ensuring appropriate governance and data protection.
- Lead ERP initiatives, business systems optimization, and technology-enabled transformation projects that support continuous improvement and organizational growth.

Information Technology Operations

- Direct the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems department, ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of technology services across the organization.
- Oversee the design, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of business applications, enterprise systems, data platforms; as well as the management and lifecycle of hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, cloud services, endpoints, mobile devices, collaboration platforms, and remote-access technologies.




- Establish departmental priorities, budgets, service levels, and resource plans to effectively support business objectives.

Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Risk Management

- Partner with operational and manufacturing stakeholders to support ERP, plant-floor technologies, operational technology interfaces, system integrations, and related cybersecurity practices.
- Promote continuous improvement through data analytics, reporting, automation, business intelligence, and process optimization initiatives.

People Leadership

- Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development for Information Systems employees.
- Establish departmental goals, assign responsibilities, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer service, and continuous learning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience.

Preferred

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.




- Experience leading ERP implementations or major business systems projects.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, PMP, Microsoft, Azure, or equivalent.
- Additional relevant certifications may include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Certified Ethical Hacker, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent cybersecurity, cloud, governance, risk, or project-management credentials.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, Microsoft 365, virtualization technologies, and modern workplace solutions.
- Experience managing ERP systems, business applications, system integrations, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint management, vulnerability management, security monitoring, backup and recovery solutions, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Understanding of recognized governance, security, privacy, service management, and risk frameworks, including NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends.
