Key Responsibilities

· The L3 Unix/Linux Administrator is responsible for advanced administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of IBM AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) environments. This role supports mission-critical systems, leads root-cause analysis, drives automation, and provides technical leadership for L1/L2 teams.

· Advanced System Administration — Manage, configure, and optimize AIX, RHEL, and SUSE servers across Production, Dev, QA, and DR environments.

· Performance Tuning — Analyze CPU, memory, I/O, and network performance, tune kernel parameters and subsystems.

· Incident & Problem Management — Handle high-severity incidents, perform deep-dive troubleshooting, and lead root-cause analysis.

· Patch & Vulnerability Management — Apply OS patches, firmware updates, and security hardening following Customer guidelines.

· Automation & Scripting — Develop automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, or
