Position: Tech Lead - Java

Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid

Type: Contract

We are looking for a seasoned Java tech Lead to drive the design and development of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have Some hands-on experience in Java technologies, client-facing communication, and managing distributed development teams across onshore and offshore locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Java-based development projects, ensuring high performance and scalable design.
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor developers and conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards.
- Coordinate tasks and delivery across onshore and offshore teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

Required Skills:
- Experience in Java/Spring Boot development.
- Experience in client interaction and stakeholder management.
- Robust understanding of microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience in leading distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.)
