The MagiQuest Attendant supports the daily operations of the MagiQuest retail shop, game system, and interactive play area, ensuring a seamless and engaging guest experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Team

- Willingness to accept the most effective role.
- Promote a safe and professional work environment by adhering to all policies and procedures.
- Remain productively engaged in additional responsibilities during slower periods to support team efficiency.
- Oversee daily MagiQuest game operations in accordance with established Retail Services procedures and guidelines.
- Close with an open mentality.
- Keep all areas in like-recent condition and website ready.

Guest
- Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
- Assist with merchandising functions, including product display, store layout, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing.
- Educate guests on MagiQuest gameplay and wand operation to enhance their interactive experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service within the MagiQuest area by performing routine cleaning and organizing tasks.
- Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Financial
- Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Assist with merchandising activities such as product display, store layout, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing.

Physical Requirements

- Capable of walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching up to and including above shoulder level for duration of shift.
- Capable of crouching/squatting, kneeling and climbing multiple flights of stairs.
- Dexterity of the fingers and hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
- Ability to push a large cart of garbage up to 25lbs.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30lbs.
- Capable of working in a loud and bright environment with flashing lights.
- Ability to hear for communication with guests, has spatial perception.
- Capable of speaking to guests for long periods of time, up to and including your entire shift.

Additional Requirements Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
