Our Ottawa-based client is hiring a Manager, Cryptography and Network Security Architect for a 1-year hybrid contract chance.

Must Haves:

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on cryptography experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Security Architect, or similar role in complex enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cryptography, including encryption algorithms, protocols, key management, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and secure authentication
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms including AES, RSA, ECC, and SHA-2/3
- Deep understanding of network architecture and security, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, segmentation, TLS, IPSec, and VPNs
- Experience designing solutions across cloud, on-premises, and distributed environments
- Strong knowledge of network security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, zero trust, and segmentation
- Deep understanding of secure system design, distributed systems, and threat modeling.
