The Packaging & Finished Goods Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day packaging and finished goods operations, ensuring products are packaged safely, accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards. This role provides frontline leadership to the Secondary team and supports the overall Packaging & Finished Goods process, including standardized work, employee training and development, quality compliance, production efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The Secondary Team

Lead is responsible for coordinating daily priorities, supporting employees on the floor, identifying operational issues, and helping ensure production requirements are achieved.

Available Positions & Schedule

We currently have two Packaging & Finished Goods Lead positions available:

- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m

Additional hours or overtime may be available or required based on operational needs. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead daily packaging and finished goods operations.
- Coordinate staffing and workflow within the packaging area.
- Maintain packaging standards, procedures, and work instructions.
- Train, coach, and certify packaging employees.
- Ensure compliance with quality, labeling, traceability, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping to resolve issues.
- Monitor packaging materials and inventory needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately
- Forklift experience and certification, or the ability to obtain certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
- Basic computer skills are considered an asset
- Ability and willingness to learn

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- 2 to 3 years of experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing setting.

Language Skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
